Too Good to Be True by Carola Lovering
Skye has struggled most of her life with OCD, which has kept her from pursuing serious relationships. When her "too good to be true" older boyfriend Michael Burke proposes after just a few months of dating, she is over the moon.
Then the reader learns a devastating secret: Michael is already married. As we move between Skye's story, Michael's letters to his therapist, and his wife's story, we learn that there is a lot more to Michael's deception than we first thought.
Why I Loved It: The character of Skye was so vulnerable and genuine, and I really connected with her. I finished this book in a day because I couldn't wait to find out what happened at the end. A perfect balance of suspense, character development and romance.
